THE STRUGGLE IN UNIT AND MOBILIZATION OF TRADE UNIONS, SOCIAL, POPULAR, ACTIVE AND RETIRED ORGANIZATIONS - CONSISTENT WITH THE INTERESTS OF THE WORKING CLASS - IS THE WAY TO ACHIEVE AN URGENT EMERGENCY INCREASE IN RETIREMENTS AND PENSIONS AND, IN THIS ELECTION STAGE , DEMAND DEFINITIONS ON OUR DEMANDS AND PROPOSALS. Almost 40 years after the restoration of democracy, it is inevitable to relate the current economic and social situation with the neoliberal establishment of the capitalist system in our country - around 1975 with the Rodrigazo - and deepened by the genocidal dictatorship.The different governments that succeeded each other maintained that matrix. Some aggravating it and others, without touching the exploitative essence of capitalism and with arguments of a "humanized, distributive capitalism", trying to make it more "tolerable for the popular sectors" and container of their struggles. The offensive of the dominant economic power continues to hit the people, incorporating the decisive presence of the IMF, which is pressing to carry out regressive reforms, especially in the labor and social security spheres. In this context, the events of Jujuy are paradigmatic, where the political power, acting at the service and as manager of the large economic groups, true real power, carries out a brutal repression against the people of Jujuy who fight for fair wages, for the ancestral rights of native peoples and for popular sovereignty over common goods. L@s retirees and pensioners, as members of the working class, do not resign ourselves to this unfortunate reality. In this regard, we not only oppose any attempt at pension reform that is harmful to the interests and rights of workers, but we will present shortly, for the broadest and most participatory debate possible, a bill that establishes a true public, universal, solidarity, pay-as-you-go and intergenerational pension system.

Salaries, pensions and income not in accordance with the coverage of the basic needs of children, young people, adults, and older adults with deficiencies in access to health, housing, education , culture, recreation translate into poverty and all the negative aspects for the active and retired working class and the popular sectors.The urgency of an emergency increase is not only a problem of retirement and minimum pensions, which today only cover a third of basic needs, it is an accumulated loss of purchasing power of all assets. This situation is aggravated by obtaining current and future retirements for around half of the economically active population, in conditions of unregistered work, unemployment, underemployment and job insecurity. WE BEGIN JUNE AND CONTINUE WITH THE LEGITIMATE AND CONSEQUENT FIGHT FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE RETIRED AND PENSIONAD. WE ARE PART OF THE WORKING CLASS, AND AS SUCH, WE BELIEVE THAT THE STRUGGLE OF THE WHOLE CLASS, IN A UNITED FORM, WILL ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES DESIRED FOR ALL OF THE ARGENTINE PEOPLE. Consistently, with autonomy from the different governments on duty, we have been demanding that: * The retirement credit corresponds to 82% mobile of the salary of the active workers, in the same position, trade or function. * the minimum credit covers the Basic Basket of an elderly person. * put an end to illegal unregistered work. * The direction and administration of the pension funds is exercised by representatives of active workers and retirees, with the participation of the State, * the normalization of the INSSJYP-PAMI is carried out, ending the Intervention. * Commodatum housing for Retirees and Pensioners in a housing emergency situation. In our usual meetings on Wednesdays in front of the Congress, we are accompanied by different groups of retirees, with whom we favor common vindictive points, generating joint actions. Last May 29, on a new anniversary of the Cordobazo, we participated in a unitary act in Plaza de Mayo, where representatives of retirees spoke as well as different union leaders. It was a reaffirmation that the class struggles recognize a historical path of a past that challenges the present, posing the challenges of the future. The Cordobazo leaves a legacy, leaves a message that is fully valid today: the fight for wages and the demands of the working class must be accompanied by raising awareness of the need for a political project linked to the struggle for power , building an alternative society to the exploitative essence of capitalism. On Thursday, June 1st, colleagues from our Coordinating Table were invited to participate, at the ATE Lanús Headquarters, in a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the fight against the privatization of the pension system and the delivery to the National Congress of one million of signatures of support from our people. A struggle that encompassed a wide field of union, social, and territorial organizations, and in which the leaders of our Coordinating Table of those years played a prominent role, many of them physically absent today but present in the strength of today's militants. These are examples of the Unity that our National Coordinating Table promotes to confront the IMF, the governments of the day, the employers, the political forces subordinated to capital that in the next elections will try to legitimize the labor and pension reform to increase profits. capitalists. The united struggle of trade unions, retirees, social, popular organizations, for genuine work, for an urgent wage increase and in retirement and pensions, for the improvement of working conditions, for the right to education, to health, housing, a true Public Pension System, Distribution, Assisted, Intergenerational, to live the retirement stage with autonomy and dignity, constitutes the only possibility of resisting the Adjustment and making our demands a reality with the projects of struggle that we develop.
