WE BEGIN JUNE AND CONTINUE WITH THE LEGITIMATE AND CONSEQUENT FIGHT FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE RETIRED AND PENSIONAD. WE ARE PART OF THE WORKING CLASS, AND AS SUCH, WE BELIEVE THAT THE STRUGGLE OF THE WHOLE CLASS, IN A UNITED FORM, WILL ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES DESIRED FOR ALL OF THE ARGENTINE PEOPLE. In our usual meetings on Wednesdays in front of the Congress, we are accompanied by different groups of retirees, with whom we favor common vindictive points, generating joint actions. Last May 29, on a new anniversary of the Cordobazo, we participated in a unitary act in Plaza de Mayo, where representatives of retirees spoke as well as different union leaders. It was a reaffirmation that the class struggles recognize a historical path of a past that challenges the present, posing the challenges of the future. The Cordobazo leaves a legacy, leaves a message that is fully valid today: the fight for wages and the demands of the working class must be accompanied by raising awareness of the need for a political project linked to the struggle for power , building an alternative society to the exploitative essence of capitalism. On Thursday, June 1st, colleagues from our Coordinating Table were invited to participate, at the ATE Lanús Headquarters, in a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the fight against the privatization of the pension system and the delivery to the National Congress of one million of signatures of support from our people. A struggle that encompassed a wide field of union, social, and territorial organizations, and in which the leaders of our Coordinating Table of those years played a prominent role, many of them physically absent today but present in the strength of today's militants. These are examples of the Unity that our National Coordinating Table promotes to confront the IMF, the governments of the day, the employers, the political forces subordinated to capital that in the next elections will try to legitimize the labor and pension reform to increase profits. capitalists. The united struggle of trade unions, retirees, social, popular organizations, for genuine work, for an urgent wage increase and in retirement and pensions, for the improvement of working conditions, for the right to education, to health, housing, a true Public Pension System, Distribution, Assisted, Intergenerational, to live the retirement stage with autonomy and dignity, constitutes the only possibility of resisting the Adjustment and making our demands a reality with the projects of struggle that we develop.
